A graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a degree in business, her entrepreneurial journey began as a class project—her business plan impressed her professor so much that he called it the best he had ever seen. From that strong foundation, Diane built a company that has transformed countless spaces across Charlotte. Her creativity and expertise shine in the plantscapes she has designed for hundreds of businesses, retailers, hotels, office buildings, restaurants, and residences, leaving a lasting legacy of beauty and innovation.

Kristine Brockman
Kristine, a proud Charlotte native, has been an integral part of Charlotte Plantscapes since 2006, continuing the legacy as the second generation in her family business. Her connection to plants started early—she was just a year old when Diane founded the company, and growing up surrounded by greenery ignited a lifelong passion. Today, Kristine channels that enthusiasm into caring for plants and crafting stunning designs and installations for clients.
When she's not transforming spaces with her creativity, Kristine treasures time with her wonderful husband and daughter, embracing the joys of family life. Her deep roots in the business and her dedication to her craft make her an irreplaceable part of the Charlotte Plantscapes story.

Kenny
Kenny, a proud Charlotte native, represents the second generation of leadership at Charlotte Plantscapes. His journey with the family business began in high school, where he developed his skills and love for plantscaping. After graduating, Kenny ventured out to earn a four-year degree and embarked on an exciting adventure traveling across the United States. These experiences broadened his perspectives and enriched his expertise. Ultimately, he chose to return to his roots and rejoin the family business, bringing fresh ideas and invaluable insights to the team.

Shanna
Shanna, a proud North Carolina native, combines her management expertise with her passion for houseplants, making her an indispensable leader at Charlotte Plantscapes. She excels in guiding and supporting her team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Shanna's long-standing hobby as a houseplant enthusiast has seamlessly transitioned into her professional career, where she inspires both colleagues and clients with her dedication to greenery. Her workdays are infused with inspiration from audiobooks and podcasts that fuel her creativity and growth.
Outside of work, Shanna taps into her creative side with crafting projects, experiments in the kitchen, and quality time with her husband and their beloved dog during cozy movie nights. Her multifaceted interests and leadership skills make her a cornerstone of the Charlotte Plantscapes team.

Liz
Liz, a Charlotte native, brings many years of experience as an office administrator. Since joining the team in 2023, she has been an invaluable asset, consistently contributing to the success of the organization. Outside of work, her family is her top priority, and she cherishes her time with her three wonderful boys. Her weekends are often bustling with football, baseball, and soccer games, as she supports her sons in their athletic pursuits.

Danielle joined Charlotte Plantscapes in 2021 and has been an integral part of the team as a horticulture specialist. She enjoys immersing herself in audiobooks and podcasts while expertly servicing her accounts. Beyond her work, Danielle has a passion for travel, exploring new books, and spending quality time baking with her daughter—a hobby that brings joy to both of them.

Since 2019, Merja has been an essential part of the Charlotte Plantscapes team, blending her passion for plants with her natural curiosity about people. Originally hailing from Finland, she has embraced her work as a window into the vibrant life and landscapes of Charlotte and its surrounding areas. When she’s not crafting green masterpieces for clients, Merja finds joy behind the lens, capturing the beauty of nature. Her happiest moments, however, are spent with her family, cherishing the small, meaningful adventures that life brings.

Nicole has been a dedicated member of the Charlotte Plantscapes team for over seven years, excelling as a horticulture specialist. Her journey with the company began even earlier, as she contributed as seasonal help for several years prior. A proud mother of two amazing boys, Nicole's passions extend beyond plants. She finds joy in art, animals, video games, camping, fishing, and exploring the natural beauty of the world around her.
