Diane Schwab
Founder, Owner
Diane founded Charlotte Plantscapes in 1983 after earning a business degree from UNC-Charlotte. Fun fact: She created the business plan for the company as a project for one of her classes. Her professor said it was the best business plan he had ever seen. Her passion for design and her love of plants shines in each of the plantscapes she has created for hundreds of businesses, retailers, hotels, office buildings, restaurants, and residences in the Charlotte area.
Kristine Brockman
Vice President, Sales
Kristine is a Charlotte native and has been working for Charlotte Plantscapes for since 2006 and is the 2nd generation in the family business. She was only a year old when Diane started the company. Over the years, her passion grew due to being immersed in plants at such a young age. She enjoys caring for the plants as well as designing and installing projects for accounts. When she is not working, Kristine loves to spend time with her wonderful husband and daughter.
Kenny
Warehouse Manager
Kenny is a Charlotte native, is also 2nd generation and has been working for Charlotte Plantscapes since High School. He left to go to college and received a 4 year degree. He then traveled the US before returning to the family business.
Shanna Korolev
Operations Manager
Shanna is a native to North Carolina and has a background in management. She has been a houseplant hobbyist for many years and was excited to join the world of professional plantscaping. When she’s not taking care of plants, she enjoys all things crafty, cooking, and movie nights with her husband and dog.
Nicole
Horticulture Specialist
Nicole has been with Charlotte Plantscapes for over seven years as a horticulture specialist and as seasonal help for a few years prior. She is the proud mother of two amazing boys and enjoys art, animals, video games, camping, fishing, and of course, plants.
Danielle
Horticulture Specialist
Danielle has been with Charlotte Plantscapes since 2021 as a horticulture specialist. She enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts while servicing her accounts. She also loves to travel, read new books, and baking with her daughter.
Merja
Horticulture Specialist
Merja has been with Charlotte Plantscapes for four years and finds working with plants and our clients very interesting. Originally from Finland, she has learned so much about Charlotte and the surrounding areas through her work. She enjoys taking photos of nature and spending time with her family in her spare time.
Liz
Office Assistant
Liz has been with Charlotte Plantscapes since 2023.
